Think of the African Idol Academy as the ultimate boot camp for budding stars. Here, our top 40 contestants get mentored by some of Africa’s biggest music legends. Hitting those right notes, owning the stage, or telling their story through music, the Academy preps them for greatness.
Our goal? To unite Africa through the universal language of music and show the world what we’re made of.
The winner of African Idol will receive a $200,000 cash prize and a recording contract, setting the stage for an exciting career across Africa and the world. This prize highlights African Idol’s mission to spotlight talent and create pathways to international success.
